Bachelor/Master Automated Image Processing

Bachelor thesis/ Master thesis:

Automated image processing and analysis of scanning electron microscopy images of particulate systems

 

Your role: During your bachelor thesis you will work in the exciting area of research and development of new products at the company. Understanding and analytical characterization of these new products is a precondition for the understanding and prediction of the processability as well as efficiency of the final product. Your work will focus on the development of a new image processing and analysis tool to process and analyse images captured by scanning electron microscopy of particulate systems that come from various sources of the international group,e.g. pharmaceutical products, chemical products and samples from the many innovative Research and Development projects You will become acquainted with scanning electron microscopy and gain experience in capturing and evaluating high resolution images of particles down to the nanometre range.

 

Who you are:

·  You are currently studying optical technology, image processing, physics, informatics or related fields as Bachelor or Master student.
·  You can work independently and show very good organizational skills.
·  A deep knowledge of programming and image processing are required.
·  Excellent spoken and written German and/or English is imperative.

 

Duration : at least 3-6 month
