JUKE is a digital Music Service that combines the strengths of both radio and on-demand and makes these worlds complimentary to each other in one service. JUKE offers linear radio for its users, combined with 50+ million tracks and on-demand playlists in one hybrid model and bridges the gap between linear and on-demand. We not only provide radio groups with a digital distribution model and data but also add direct functionality, content and value to the radio experience. With this approach we offer our users the most relevant music service in one place and are able to service both the laid-back-listener and the pro-active-streamer.

 

We launched JUKE in the Netherlands last year (2017) and recently launched in Germany (May 2018) and Spain will be our next big launch. In the Netherlands JUKE is in a partnership with Talpa Radio. Talpa Radio (part of Talpa Network) is owner of the 4 largest radio stations in the Netherlands with a market share of more than 32% and 7 million listeners weekly (with a population of 17 million). Talpa is a format and media company, internationally renowned for formats like Big Brother and The Voice. Even if the partnership is limited to the Netherlands, it underlines the potential of JUKE. Within the other territories we aim to have similar partnerships.

 

The function in general:  

“Online content editor”, it sounds great and that’s what it is! Within this function you will determine the content and quality relating to all our digital touchpoints. You write articles, posts and will be the central point of contact for all digital JUKE content in Spain.

Is that all? No! Of course you will also attribute to new concepts, marketing strategies and stories for commercial collaborations and partnerships.

As an Online Content Editor:

·  You determine the content and quality for all digital touchpoints for JUKE Spain, and you will be the central point of contact.
·  You align with your peers in The Netherlands and Germany.
·  Every day you will decide on production, selection of content, speed of messaging to our target groups.
·  You will be aware of all development and innovation concerning Online Content, and able to integrate new methods into JUKE digital strategy.
·  You maintain the planning to make sure all defined targets will be realized.
·  You safeguard the look & feel of the brand, aligned with other territories and the tone of voice towards our target audience.
·  You attribute to an effective workflow between the different teams involved. 

 

We look for someone who is genuine and:

·  Has a college education in Media or communication or journalism
·  Has broad experience (2-3 years minimum) in online journalism
·  Loves music and related technology and services
·  Who is able to work with HTML & Photoshop
·  Has knowledge about SEO, SEA, and able to assess usability and web statistics
·  Knows how to work with editorial software for image, video and audio
·  Controls both English and Spanish, written and verbally
·  Is a true teamplayer, able to be direct and give/receive feedback from his colleagues.
·  Work very accurately.
