Regional Quality & Food Safety manufacturing manafer - M/W

Job Purpose :

As a member of the European Regional QFS team and with a close R+D, supply & commercial collaboration, the role is responsible for providing strong and visible leadership and support on 3 manufacturing sites for Quality and Food Safety. The role is responsible for driving implementation and continuous improvement of quality standards and to ensure effective governance, utilizing the expert support from the regional and global Q&FS team.

Key Responsibilites :

Deployment of the QFS policy, FAB, Road Map and QMP standard.
Manage deployment, alignment and ongoing compliance of Q&FS RC/Mars and ISO standards.
PRIMP Leadership for the 3 sites including prompt communication, sharing and SIRB coordination. Lead the sites if crisis management is initiated.
Strong focus on continuous improvement and specific projects to reduce customer complaints levels
Main point of contact for HACCP, Risk assessment and MRA sign off at regional level
Ensure strong governance of Q&FS performance on the 3 sites, identifying gaps and driving continuous improvement.
Consolidate all management reviews from sites to feed the regional ones
Support quality in distribution and end to end supply chain functions.
Coordinate the Key interfaces to produce and report periodic regional QFS KPI’s
Ensure the commitment and development to the QFS talent pipeline, identifying and developing the Q&FS succession plan.
Be an important contributor to the regional and QFS team of the 5 Principles in Action.
In addition to deploying the MARS standard across all relevant areas of the business as noted below, this role is required to be the QFS voice for:
Commercial
SQA interface to factory
RM availability – shortage management
Formulation – FP monitoring & Sampling plan
Crisis management of OOS ingredients
Factory & Factory Lab
Best practice sharing
Deploy new analysis capability
Animate the Factory Lab coordinators community (quarterly call)
Recall/PRIMP management
Support RM and FG control plans
Support deployment of all process control activity/ KQA objectives
Support regional internal audit program
CAB escalation to Central QFS team for compliance roadmap
Customer Complaints (in collaboration with formulation)
Action plan upkeep
Support on customer complaints root cause analysis
CI focused on reducing complaints

Context & Scope :

The role will support the region in Q&FS matters in an “End to End” Supply Chain strategy from ingredients, to Q&FS support of the Market, including:
Commercial interface
Factory network direct support
Distribution network interface
Market interface in crisis management linked to factory (PRIMP)
Ensure Quality and Food Safety standards are known by all associates and ensuring they are delivering safe and consistently high quality products and/or services to our consumers by leading effective systems and processes.

Job Specifications :

1. Education & Professional Qualification
Career Professional specializing in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science
Experience of auditing in a Food or related environment

2. Knowledge/Experience
Intermediate to advanced English language skills and fluent in French.
Previous experience coordinating Q&FS teams
Experience working with the Standards 9001/22000/17025/18001
