Job Purpose:

The role of this job is to schedule the weekly plan for factory production in the most efficient way possible, taking into account the best run sequence, optimal batch size, crewing, machine and material constraints and market demand.

The jobholder provides the short term schedule adjustments according to the standard process and agreed rules (0 to 4 week time horizon).

This job holder is a key contact between the Factory and the Supply Planner for any short- term schedule exception changes and validating value stream inputs to Supply planner for them to build their Supply Plans such as Available Hours, line constraints etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Make and Update the production schedule

·  Establish weekly production schedule integrating key factors: capacity, opening time, shift pattern, minimum runs, resources, Supply Planning priorities.
·  Responsibility to check feasibility with factory constraints
·  Owner of the lines 4-week outlook
·  Validate availability of raws & packs, confirm labour, production rates and plan requested shutdowns for R&D, Maintenance etc. in collaboration with relevant functions as part of weekly process responsibilities
·  Challenge Operations on available hours and performance
·  Daily tracking of production targets and readjustment for short term if needed according to standard process and agreed prioritization rules from the Supply Planner and Logistics Manager.
·  Responsible for monitoring of factory performance vs plan to help drive continuous improvement activities.
·  Review production rates and communicate updates to the Supply Planner.
·  Provide communication about on hold products, communicate priorities to local Operations according to Daily Process responsibilities
·  Represents planning in Daily fMOS process

Stock management

·  Integrate pack stock management with packaging supplier team
·  Ensure site inventory reconciliation

Context and Scope:

The scheduling is done by using the locally available production scheduling tool, based on the agreed principles and rules and following the standard business process

As the Scheduler is the key contact for the Supply Planner who is not necessarily based in the same location or same country, the job holder requires to be fluent in English

1. Education & Professional Qualification

·  Diploma or College/University Degree

2. Knowledge/Experience

·  Fluent English (speaking & writing)
·  PC literacy (SAP, Excel)
·  Working knowledge of a manufacturing environment is essential Experience in production area and logistics (minimum 5 years preferred)
·  Experience in organization and people staff management for production resources
·  Practical spirit, responsive, capability to be objective and report facts.
