About the Role

Our team looks after a large range of equipment to produce famous Brands like, Extra Gum, Eclipse Mints and Skittles.This role looks after the total electrical reliability of the site. Under the direction of the Team Leader and Leading Hand you will be accountable for ensuring the team maintaining and improving our electrical systems while ensuring OH&S, Food Safety, Environmental Awareness, Production Demands, Associate Engagement & Continuous Improvement KPI's requirements are met.

What you will do at our Wrigley site:

• Adhere to the Mars Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, Occupational Health & Safety standards
• Accountable for all site electrical equipment, including utilities, process, wrapping, building services and communications systems.
• Identify root causes and carry out continuous improvements to site safety, product quality and operational efficiency.
• Support department associate personal leave schedules ensuring production demands can be met.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out routine planned and preventative maintenance on factory equipment.

Other duties as required in the position description

What you will bring to the role:

• Electrical maintenance associates all need to have a current and valid electrical license.
• Preferred industrial electronics or similar training, CERT 4 or 5/ PLC programming experience (preferred)
• Previous electrical experience within a manufacturing environment (FMCG, food production or similar)
• Advanced problem solving and root cause identification skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with factory operation associates through solid written and verbal communication skills
