Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Boscolo Hotels. The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including the selection and hiring process. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Achieve monthly sales targets ; develop and maintain an updated customer database; retain existing clientele and secure new accounts; monitor competitors and market conditions; identify commercial opportunities for business development; prepare and execute sales action plans and strategies; maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports; ensure customer service and satisfaction and good client relationships; contribute to product development through ideation and innovation; manage sales team

Profile:

Strong negotiation and closing skills; proven track record in new business development; effective time management; verbal and written communication skills; team management experience; the drive to succeed within high pressure environment

Essential Skill and experience required:

·  An previous experience of minimum 2 years in proactive sales in the hospitality (Hotel/Agencies Venue/Catering Industry) if possible of equivalent standard;
·  A good knowledge of English (fluent level is require) as well of French, the knowledge of a third language will be preferable
·  A good knowledge of the Sales & Catering Opera and preferably Marsha (Marriott Reservation System)
