BANQUETING SUPERVISOR

You will be empowered to use your leadership skills as well as your creativity to craft memorable experiences for our guests in altogether 10 meeting rooms, with the heart of operations being our newly refurbished and elegantly designed Westminster Ballroom for more than 500 guests.

Qualifications :

Responsibilities

Understanding the function sheets and ensuring every element needed for the event is booked and ordered.

Leasing with clients and event manager on the day for amendments or extra requirements.

Ensure a timely and friendly service.

Training the associates for any of the service included in the event

Assisting in the cleanliness of the bar and the reception.

To submit every payment for the functions to the client.

To ensure the Banqueting Porter are supervised in the set-up of the function room to the specification as laid down by room plans.

To ensure the banqueting staff provide high standard of service, and are briefed before each event.

To report all equipment malfunctions to the Banqueting Office.

To enforce grooming standards set out by the management, health and safety regulations, No smoking and fair treatment policies all the time.

To make sure that every guest leaves satisfied.



Requirements


Good English communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).

Well-presented, proactive and reliable.

Able to work alone and within a team and in a busy environment

Education, Certification or previous experience in F&B role.

Costumer Service Skills.
