Job description



Study, development and design of hydraulic systems for mining excavators :

·  Definition and dimensioning of hydraulic circuits and functions
·  Determination and specification of hydraulic components, drafting of specifications
·  Realization of the hydraulic part of preliminary projects
·  Monitoring and cost control of the overall hydraulic function
·  Creation and modification of hydraulic diagrams
·  Definition of machine and/or system controls and control strategies
·  Follow-up of tests
·  Approval and validation of hydraulic components and functions
·  Simulation of complex hydraulic systems
·  Digital analysis of operating data
·  Design and construction of hydraulic circuits
·  Creation of bills of materials, drawings and 3D visualisations related to the assembly of hydraulic power units (detail drawings, assembly drawings and some mechanical welds).

Improvement, evolution and reliability of hydraulic systems and components :

·  Treatment of problems of reliability of hydraulic components and systems on the entire existing machine park
·  Management and monitoring of reliability issues
·  Analysis of wear, failure or malfunction modes of components or systems
·  Definition of validation methods (on-site tests, bench tests, etc.) and follow-up
·  Documentation of the solutions chosen and the steps taken in order to perpetuate the information.
·  Digital analysis of operating data
·  Studies of the behaviour of hydraulic systems
·  Creation and modification of bills of material, drawings and 3D visualisations

Skills

·  Hydraulics/Mechatronics/Mechanics Engineer (power transmission systems, fluid mechanics, electrical engineering)
·  Experience of more than 3 years
·  Software: Matlab/simulink, CAD software
·  Fluent in English and/or German
