As the Social Media intern, you will be a member of the Social Media Marketing team, partnering with your team members as you get a better understanding of the social landscape, while also learning the workings of the Victoria’s Secret Marketing Team. You will have the opportunity to apply your education at a professional setting, while gaining valuable experience and skills. In this position, you will learn and apply industry best practices and trends and help to adapt them into our current processes and social framework. In addition, you will have the opportunity to apply your existing knowledge across platforms and recommend improvements and impact change.

 

Responsibilities

·  Support Social Media team with content management, including editorial calendar and asset management
·  Support weekly social content calendar process
·  Collaborate with larger team on social storytelling ideation and plans
·  Research current industry trends and topics to help inform strategies
·  Monitor and share competitor analysis
·  Assist in posting and content creation on select organic channels
·  Assist in reporting social analytics and tracking KPIs
·  Help to confirm product, price, and online availability for social posts
·  Assist in creating trackable links & tags for product in social posts
·  Manage the monthly Top 10 wall

Qualifications

·  Previous internship or work experience
·  Strong understanding and experience using all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok)
·  Creative thinker who can brainstorm innovative ideas
·  Knowledge of social media tools, such as Facebook & Instagram Insights, Twitter Analytics, Spredfast, Curalate, Dash Hudson, and Coremetrics a plus
·  Passion for learning and understanding what makes fans take actions in social media
·  Knowledge of pop culture and viral trends
·  Highly organized, flexible and have a proven multi-tasking ability
·  Problem solving, decision making & analytical capabilities
·  Strong presentation, communication, and writing skills
