Don’t miss this opportunity to join one of the largest and most recognized companies in the beauty industry!  SalonCentric, the professional products distribution operation of L´Oréal USA, is looking for a Shipper.   This full-time position is located in our Valencia distribution center located at 28145 W. Harrison Parkway, Valencia, CA 91355 until late February 2020.  The position will then relocate to our Tejon Ranch distribution center located at 5337 Wheeler Ridge Road, Unit A, Arvin, CA  93203 in March 2020.

Position Summary:

As a Picker, you will be responsible for processing and packing customer orders.  You’ll obtain merchandise from bins or shelves and ensure the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Removes product from conveyor according to order specifications.
·  Picks orders in accordance with location, SKU number and descriptions.
·  Fulfills salon and store orders.
·  Shares in housekeeping responsibilities for the work area.
·  Assists in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse.
·  Performs other duties and tasks as needed upon request by Management.
·  Replenishes the pick line and all of the locations.
·  Adheres to and appreciates all safety procedures and routines.
·  Perform other warehouse tasks and duties as needed upon request by Management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Education:

·  Two years’ experience using an RF scan gun preferred.
·  Excellent listening and communication skills.

·  Ability to speak and understand English.
·  Must have basic reading & writing skills to read labels, literature, policy manuals etc.
·  Ability to learn use of computer and/or radio frequency devices (RF gun).
·  Must be reliable and on-time to work each day.
· 
·  Must wear protective eyewear, footwear, hand protection (gloves) and safety vests.
·  Attention to detail is a must – the customer must receive an accurate, damage free and properly labeled order.
·  Abide by all safety rules and expectations.
·  High School Diploma or GED required.
