About the role

As part of our dynamic and growing business, we are seeking a diligent and skilled a Night Warehouse Supervisor (Shift hours from 6.00pm onwards) to join our team based at our Distribution Centre in Dandenong South. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for leading the DC shift with the key focus being Safety, Productivity & Quality.

Other key responsibilities will include:

·  Actively promoting a strong safety culture and driving a best in class DC environment
·  Developing and maintaining a professional and motivated team that works collaboratively
·  Identifying, arranging and managing weekly and daily labour requirements
·  Supervising the work of team members to ensure daily operational requirements and targets are met.
·  Ensuring on-site equipment is always in good working condition and is safely and appropriately used
·  Investigating and resolving operational issues in a timely and effective manner
·  Pro-actively seeking continuous improvement methods concerning warehouse operations.
·  Conducting toolbox talks and assisting the Operations Manager as required  

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have had previous experience in a similar role looking after medium/ large team.

·  You will be punctual and have excellent attention to detail.
·  You will have a strong ethos for safety within the workplace and a problem solver with a “hands-on” approach.
·  You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to develop and coach staff through any issues.
·  You will also ideally have had previous invoicing and order placing experience with a basic understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience in IR would also be seen as an advantage.
