Overview of The Opportunity:

Ignition Tax requires a Business Support Analyst to provide business support services for KPMG Canada's major Tax technology projects. The group's objective is to service the Firm in an effective and efficient manner in order to ensure that the delivered technology and business solutions are of high quality and consistent with the Firm's vision. The Business Support Analyst will work closely with business representatives and the technology teams to analyze, develop, and deliver services in relation to integrating business applications or technology into our current environment.

What you will do :

·  Support business process analysis and modeling, requirements and design analysis

·  Help with facilitation of business process review sessions and fit analysis sessions

·  Participate in the development and maintenance of business analysis standards and methodologies

·  Identify opportunities for process improvement in relation to operational procedures, customer service and product development

·  Par-take in business analysis services including: assessments, vendor evaluation, requirements, process development, design analysis and conversions. Modify or develop procedures to solve problems to address the desired results

·  Provide QA support including: identify and assist in the resolution of testing issues, bugs and risks

·  Well-developed analytical skills, with proven ability to triage technical problems for the development team, project leads and clients; aptitude to identify when to escalate issues

·  Assist with the development of business analysis standards and methodologies, tools and/or processes for the service area

·  Provide value-added advice/input to ensure project team members meet their business objectives

·  Aid in project deliverables such as business requirements, processes, gap/fit analysis, assessments

·  Contribute to the development of business analysis standards and methodologies, tools, and/or processes for the service area

What you bring to the role:

·  1 to 3 years\u0027 experience of software development experience

·  University or College degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required

·  Well- developed analytical skills, with proven ability to triage technical problems for the development team, project leads and clients; aptitude to identify when to escalate issues

·  Provide QA support including: identify and assist in the resolution of testing issues, bugs and risks

·  Work effectively in situations involving rapid change, shifting priorities, and/or simultaneous demands

·  Consider and evaluate all relevant factors when making decisions

·  Identify client needs, responding quickly with recommended solutions

·  Deliver value to clients by consistently providing high-quality service

·  Respond promptly and professionally to requests for assistance

·  Ability to work well independently as well as within a team based environment

·  Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders, management, IT professionals, end users, and project teams to understand and communicate issues

·  Experience in defining, analyzing and documenting business requirements and business process models is an asset
