IT Infrastructure & Cloud Services Consultant (m/f)

Job description

The IT Advisory team analyzes technology issues within its clients businesses and provides assistance with: developing appropriate IT strategies, optimizing the IT function, sourcing, selecting and implementing IT systems, data management & governance and Cyber security.

The role and responsibilities

- Deliver advisory services to clients around IT Infrastructure, Cloud and Service Management services, using insight and skills that will build a roadmap of future consulting-based recommendations.
- During advisory engagements, define relevant approach for Client organizations concerning the optimization of their IT services supply chain and IT services catalogue addressing business drivers.
- Assist organizations to develop robust transformation roadmaps across different IT infrastructure towers (Cloud, DataCenter, Security, ...).
- While playing the role of the trusted advisor in client engagements, design relevant delivery model for organizations considering improvement or implementation of multi-sourcing framework (based on an eco-system of IT service providers).
- Lead organizational changes underlying above IT transformation initiatives.
- As part of ITA community, contribute to building a knowledge-sharing culture at KPMG by sharing deliverables and experiences gained through client engagements.

The perfect candidate

- You hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, (business) engineering or in another technology-related field or you can demonstrate a valuable experience in IT projects.
- You can demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in IT transformation projects including a significant infrastructure component.
- You are passionate about IT and knowledgeable in some of these areas : Service Management, IT Governance, DataCenter services, Cloud Services, Cloud management platform, etc.
- You have been already involved in IT project management and have developed the required capabilities in terms of methodologies and tools as well as the soft skills-set.
- You are fluent in English, German and/or French, and you have developed excellent presentation and communication skills.
- You are proactive, customer-minded, creative and quality driven.

Specific Skills Required:

- ITIL Foundation. Certification as ITIL Service Strategy or ITIL Service Design is a plus.
- ISO/IEC 27000 Foundations.
- COBIT 5.
