We have had an exciting vacancy open up for an enthusiastic and hardworking operator to join the Transport Team. This position is based within a team of 6, reporting to the Transport Supervisor.
Your tasks and responsibilities
· Customer service – ensure ongoing and consistent customer service satisfaction and communicating customer feedback to the team as and when required
· Transport administration and data entry
· Arranging cartage for sea freight, air freight and domestic services within specific KN requirements
· Maintaining excellent relationships with other internal departments
· Working within multiple systems to track, trace and update cartage milestones
Your skills and experience
· Knowledge of the transport industry would be advantageous but not essential
· Proven experience dealing with customers
· Great attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving skills
· Successful history juggling competing priorities and meeting multiple tight KPI’s and deadlines
· An enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn
You will be comfortable in picking up new computer systems and like working in a team environment.
Your can-do and positive attitude will enable you to build successful relationships with not only your team, but external regulatory bodies and suppliers. This is a full time, permanent position. You must be flexible with start and finish working times including overtime if required.
