Project Manager - Industrial Projects

Job description

Kuehne + Nagel Turkey is looking for a Projects Manager who is completely Project oriented, customer and solution focused in terms of managing complex Indsutrial Projects Cargo movements.

Your Role

You will be responsible for project Logistics with high priority focus on customer satısfaction as well as managıng project cargo movements world wide (Oversized, Heavy Lift and Super heavy lift cargos) with using breakbulk vessels, Ro-Ro, Lowbeds as door to door deliveries.

Your Responsibilities

·  Managing contractual process for projects RFQ and inquiries. (Adhoc or contractural). 
·  Contract negotiation and composing Invitation To Bidders (ITB) documents wıth ın the range of agreed deadline. 
·  Providing operation and admin management expertise so as to strengthen the upcoming Project Cargo operations, and ensuring that all aspects of the project are delivered in an acccurate and efficient manner. To manage all operational and service level requirements of the project are achieved as per Kuehne + Nagel FCPA requirements.
·  Ensuring all Projects Logistics appealed Engineering Procurement Construction, Oil&Gas and Mining Investments in Turkey are in radar of projects logistics Turkey, laising and sharing Sales leads to other KN offices upon need.
·  Ability to manage all kinds of Operational Supervision and customer visits in Turkey and abroad for new/Ongoing Project Cargos.
·  Port supervision and operational supervision must be conducted as per the naturality of this responsibility as well as managing the approval process of new Projects Logistics Vendors as per the requirements of bussiness.
·   Comprehending customer's quick needs for Seagoing and Trucking operations based on requirements, evaluate and determine the exact Cargo spesifications in order to manage the procurement of the services from Kuehne+Nagel's approved sub-contractors.
·  Executing local and country to country pricing, validating adherence to standards and pricing insructions, rolling-up bid input into country response, initiating risk taking Process (Escalation to linemanager), accepting and processing customer's and overseas office's shipment orders, providing spot quotations and performing up and cross selling on inbound customer calls.

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in related fields
·  Minimum 2 years of project management experience
·  Minimum 2 years of experience in Sea, Air and Road departments in forwarding industry
·  Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage Sea, Air and Road projects
·  Proven experience in market and technical knowledge for Project Cargo handling 
·  Cost sensitive, value focused, showing strong ownership attitude, highly self-motivated
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills to all levels in an organization
·  Very good spoken and written English and Turkish is a must
