Job Description
Accountable for all departmental activity including Health & Safety, achievement of business KPIs, labour, training, team development and engagement, quality, environment and security.
Your tasks and responsibilities
· Ensure you adhere to all Company, legal, environmental, ISO, Security and Health and Safety procedures and standards.
· Operate to company procedures and guidelines, and ensure that performance standards are met.
· Operate to Kuehne + Nagel Procedures.
· Adhere to work instructions.
· Assume responsibility for functions specified by the Line Manager.
· Notify the Line Manager of deviations to procedures.
· Maintain a high standard of house keeping in the yard.
· Any other duties as required, either written or verbally, by the either supervisors or managers deemed to be within the capability of the post holder.
· Carry out all driving duties in accordance with Transport Legislation and Laws of the road.
Your skills and experience
· Valid Driving Licence for vehicle being driven
· To have passed a KN approved Driver assessment
· Shows conviction in own judgement
· Decision making
· Personal motivation and drive
