Job description

Your Role

In this role, you will lead a team to provide high level of administrative support within the cluster region, and work closely with the regional procurement team to implement an effective procurement strategy. You will also drive collaboration and leverage on the team's capabilities to ensure that the purchasing categories deliver agreed targets and service standards.

Your Responsibilities

·  Provide input of business needs and market knowledge (supply market structure and dynamics, strategies of suppliers and pricing structure, opportunities and threats) to National Procurement Team
·  Lead contract and price negotiations for assigned supplier portfolio (non-regional suppliers) including tender generation and bidding process for the assigned scope, ensuring that all the procurement related risks are controlled and mitigated
·  Ensure that all tenders are carried out in accordance with good Procurement practices and are in line with all agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
·  Gather relevant benchmark data, supply market intelligence information required for review and contract discussions.
·  Establish and implement administrative policies and regulations, and to provide a wide range of administrative support to management, other Dept. and branches within Cluster
·  Take the lead in communication with Property Management Offices, office facility management and the deployment and management of company vans, drivers, office maids etc.
·  Review supplier solutions on an ongoing basis and initiate benchmarking/tender exercises as appropriate and lead supplier review meetings on a regular basis being responsible for maintaining a relationship with all key suppliers within the cluster.
·  Ensure clear standards for the delivery of administrative processes are implemented and communicated at Cluster and Branch level with a focus on continuous improvement of same.
·  Ensure that Administrative support across the cluster & National is standardized and delivered at optimal levels.

Your Skills and Experiences

We are looking for a highly organised person with strong communication skills who possesses a similar background in procurement or administration management. Ideally, you should have minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in leading a team in a large multinational organization. Demonstrated skills in indirect procurement is highly preferred.
