Job description

We are looking for Admin Clerks to join our dynamic and fast paced team at Derby and provide best in class customer solutions for our Kuehne + Drinks Logistics division.

Your Role

KN Drinks Logistics is a wholly owned business within the KN group, providing a national platform for the distribution of drinks and associated services to retail outlets across the UK. The successful candidate will support the sites clerical tasks, controlling tachograph legislation methods, ESP/GTS hygiene and liaising with customer contact centres both within KNDL and our customer base. Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Your Responsibilities

·  Supporting full compliance within current legislation, e.g. drivers hours, WTD, tachograph legislation, ESP/GTS, telematics,
·  End to end POD despatch and receipt along with full HCMS duty & customs compliance.
·  Despatching and receipting of drivers, Liaising between drivers, hauliers and agencies as required. Ensuring that driver debriefing includes full compliance with legislation and the checking of the standards against actual performance.
·  Working between the transport and warehouse operations to ensure vehicles are loaded and despatched in a timely and efficient manner.
·  Completing live debriefs accurately to ensure all data entries are complete and input into the relevant systems/passed to relevant departments.
·  Adhering to H&S requirements to provide a safe working environment promoting the hazard reporting and near miss process;'s to ensure accident reduction standards.
·  Producing KPI's for the department and ensuring they are accurate and timely reported as required by the business.
·  Keeping customers advised of delivery timescales and ensuring efficient turnaround of vehicles, late running of deliveries and where necessary the rebooking of loads.
·  24hour major incident reporting for network. Issuing of work permits

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Knowledge of transport and logistics
·  High standard of computer literacy
·  Knowledge of SAP systems and transport related systems preferable
·  Ability to communicate at all levels
