With the appointment of Demna Gvasalia as artistic director of the collections in 2015, he continues to uphold the vision of Cristóbal Balenciaga through his exquisite techniques, masterful cuts and by constantly pushing boundaries. Balenciaga offers women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, eyewear and a fragrance for women, subsidiary of Kering.

Store Manager:
He/She will be responsible for the overall management of the store, staff, merchandises, and customer-services. The Store Manager will also be responsible for achieving sales objectives, maintaining and achieving high operational and merchandising standards, and set target/goals, building highly motivated teams to maximize store performance.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve Store/Individual Sales Target

•    Set individual financial goals for team members

•    Achieve financial objectives proposing action plans and adapting actions to specific situations

Maximize the business potential of the store

•    Build up relationships with outside potential business providers

•    Direct/arrange manpower on the floor during events and/or daily store activities to maximize business opportunities and team-members productivity



People Management/ Staff Development

•    Consistently coach store staff by providing them with the necessary training and information required to develop their competencies and support their growth

•    Develop staff professional and product knowledge providing relevant updates, sources/publications as well as through developing their network

•    Identify staff training needs and set training and development plans

Uphold respect of company standards and procedures

•    Monitor stock organization, company standards as well as procedures and flow of merchandise

•    Ensure a sense of urgency in the store for immediate reactivity to stock issues

•    Ensure availability of merchandise and services, maintaining inventories

•    Give effective feedback to Merchandising team regarding product collection

Clienteling Development

•    Develop the relationship with top/key customers

•    Develop and execute clienteling actions to both locals and tourists      

•    Implement coaching program to develop SA effectiveness in connection and in after-sales service

•    Manage customers issues/complains

•    Provide to the office the feedbacks from customers on the collection

CANDIDATE PROFILE

•    5 years of solid experience in luxury retail sales with at least 4 years in managerial level

•    Excellent command of Japanese

•    Strong leadership with the ability to coach and motivate staff

•    Excellent people management and interpersonal skills

•    Good understanding of luxury fashion market practices

•    Sensitive to figures and strong business awareness

•    Presentable, energetic and with a drive to success

•    A strong interest and passion for Balenciaga
