As a food Safety Lead your main responsabilites will be:

Plant food safety plan, associated program execution and results

Adherence to global policies and procedures

Develops and maintains detailed food safety procedures. Audits against the consistent application and execution.

Set the direction of food safety improvement programs and responsible for the execution of relevant programs

Review and update of FSP for any triggers and projects (innovation, equipment, process, ingredients etc)

Analysis and investigation of food safety complaints, incidents.

Environmental monitoring program, allergen verification and validation programs

Food safety incident management, RCA and corrective/preventive actions

Engages the plant leadership team in food safety challenges requiring cross functional support

Troubleshoots food safety issues to identify deficiencies in sanitation program or equipment design

Sets the direction for ongoing FSP verification activities

Understands process and functional interdependencies. Recognize and escalate identified risk or opportunities to improve plant performance.

Food safety governance process and escalation to regional/global function

Conducts housekeeping/GMP inspections

Responsible for review of environmental monitoring data and development of corrective/preventive actions

Develops and implements all food safety training for all employees

Engages technical experts to troubleshoot food safety challenges, identify technology and methodology to improve sanitation effectiveness

Perfil buscado

Qualifications :

Develop, implement and continuously improve on Kellogg food safety system, associated programs and KPI's for plant.

Verify adherence to Kellogg food safety plan. Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements.

Food Technology, Food Science Engineering or similar background required

Food Science/Applied Microbiology Experience

Minimum of 2 years' experience in QFS activities

Good knowledge about production engineering is desirable

Spoken and written English is required
