As part of our worldwide growth, Kalray is looking for a field application and customer support engineer who speaks fluent Mandarin.
You are a software engineer with excellent interpersonal skills, a deep C/C++ skill set, a passion for working on exciting technical solutions and for helping customers. Ideally, you have experience working in embedded system sectors, such as the automotive sector.
You will be part of Kalray’s Customer Support Team. You will frequently travel to our French offices to interact directly with Kalray’s R&D team, Kalray’s Sales Team and some of our customers and prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical coordination of projects with several Asian customers and partners
- Demonstrate company products at customer sites and support sales team in organizing the presentation of product demonstration following company guidelines
- Preparing relevant records, data and documents for product presentations
- Conducting training sessions and regular follow-up on customer’s activities
- Provide technical support to Asian customers
- Report customer issues and requirements to the product marketing and engineering teams
Skill Set:
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, you have spent significant time in either China or Taiwan; Fluent French is a plus
- Mastery of Linux environment: Linux administration skills is a plus
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills
- Good scripting skills: bash, python is a plus
- Good real-time embedded software engineering skills, with experience of threads, semaphores and other parallel programming fundamentals
- Comfortable working with electronic boards, including firmware and peripherals
- Knowledge in networking, storage and/or critical embedded applications, such as automotive, is a plus
