We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager for our strategic production plant based in Val-de-Reuil (France) for a 12 months fixed term contract.


SCOPE OF THE ROLE AND BASIC PURPOSE

The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects on the company priority list focusing on product formula & packaging changes. The Project Manager is responsible for achieving the targets set during project definition and is accountable for managing risks, timelines, ensuring processes are followed and managing project communication and escalation. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams from several department: planning, engineer, production, quality, packaging, master data, R&D.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS:

1. Lead overall project execution and accountable for achieving project goals on time. This includes:

·  Project definition
·  Project planning
·  Assuring operational readiness
·  Leading cross functional teams through each phase of the project
·  Coordinating all activities to ensure project remains on track
·  Monitoring and managing risks and opportunities
·  ERP settings
·  Master Data creation and/or coordination

·  2. Lead Process & Governance :

Lead, Identify, communicate, and resolve key issues with executive sponsors or key managers. Provide ongoing status communications to all levels of the organization.

1. Education/Training and/or Experience : Bachelors in Physical Sciences, Engineering, Economics , or appropriate related field :

·  1+ years' experience in related field
·  1+ years' experience managing cross-functional expertise (R&D, Franchise Marketing, Packaging development, Procurement).
·  Project Management experience

2. Skills/Abilities:

·  Experience with leadership and conflict resolution skills
·  Effective written and oral communication skills
·  Knowledge of team dynamics
·  Broad business acumen with knowledge of project related finance
·  Knowledge of planning and organization
·  Experience with new product development processes and terminology
·  SAP knowledge
·  English spoken + written

3. Desired or Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

·  Project Management Professional (PPM) a plus
·  Masters Degree in technical or management field a plus
·  Highly effective knowledge of organizational & business acumen.
·  Experience in packaging design and/or validation
·  Demonstrated results in Quality Control, Compliance, and Regulatory
·  Project management skills
·  Demonstrated results using internal and external customer focus
·  Experience with component suppliers and qualifications
