What this job involves:

JLL has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Engineer to work on a key account with a high profile tech client that is recognised globally as the leader in their industry.

You will have operational responsibility of buildings systems at their head office, which spreads across three buildings in Pyrmont, and ensure they run efficiently, safely and cost effectively.

You will be a key member of the onsite JLL FM team towards successfully achieving financial targets and ensuring a continual high level of client satisfaction, all whilst achieving excellence in the critical environment maintenance management program at the clients premises.

Here’s a snapshot of the role:

·  Plan and take responsibility for smooth operations of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on site.
·  Develop and implement innovation programmes and processes that reduce utility costs, increase productivity and savings and share learning with the wider FM team.
·  Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
·  Review the maintenance/service practices of M&E contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations, established processes, tools and documentation.

You'll have 5 + years of technical (and supervisory) experience in building engineering or equivalent fields. Tactical vendor management, budgeting & spend management, sourcing, hard services and office fit-out projects. You will be confident in communicating with a diverse group of people at all levels of the organization and have the ability to deal with high-pressure situations.
