For 2017 Intel is forecasting to spend around $12B in capex and is looking to leverage the SSC to maximize and grow our process efficiencies. The capital analyst role is responsible for providing various levels of support to business units. Intel Factory/MFG, networks, constructions projects and IT. You will perform various front/end and back/end activities that support capital project creation, WBS origination, PO management, settlement, transfer and write off. You will partner closely with diverse group of Intel Stakeholders, including fixed asset accounting, capital analyst, operations and project teams. The successful candidate will use automated tools and systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. They may reconcile accounts and identify corrections needed in shopping card submissions. A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and sense of urgency are essential. Ensures compliance with generally accepted reporting standards and corporate policies.

Availability to travel is critical, the individual may be required to travel to other locations for training and transition.

Desired profile

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration of Finance Accounting related work experience considered a plus Intermediate to advance English spoken/written level Proficient use of MS excel, SAP and basic understanding of capital and fixed asset accounting principle highly desired Students will be considered Action orientation: displays, drive energy and stays focused and aligns priorities despite uncertainty, Has the ability to perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision. Has the bias for action to identify and drive process improvement opportunities/efficiencies within his/her desk Problem solving: Identifies problems and seeks help in determining root cause. Search for solutions and develops them in own area of responsibility Financial analysis: Competent in basic skills of data summarization, variance analysis, accounting and basic statistics, and assists in developing financial forecasts that are consistent with the business objectives of the organization. Displays strong analytical skills and critical thinking in compliance with internal policies Communication: Develops and delivers information clearly and concisely in a well organized manner. Waits until presenter is done with their idea before speaking and asks clarifying questions when they are most useful. Partnering: Builds professional relationships based on trust, respect and delivery of results. Is aware of all the stakeholders in decision-making and responds to customer requests in a timely manner Systems: Effectively applies systems development and continuous process improvements methodologies to select, build, maintain, and improve finance applications
