We currently have an opportunity for a full time Engineering Administration Coordinator to join the team on island for this exciting journey.

Your day to day

If you'd like to embrace a wider world of experiences and opportunities, we'd like to welcome you to the world's most international luxury hotel brand as our Engineering Administration Coordinator; a key role in our dynamic live on island  Engineering Team. Pivotal to supporting the team, you will have a proactive focus on maintaining all administration activities across department.  From the management of purchase requests and incoming stock to maintaining engineering, contractor and colleague records as well as coordinating with the Hardcat Administrator regarding job requests within the Resort, you will be the conduit for the teams smooth and seamless operation.

In addition your key duties and responsibilities will include:

·  Proactively showing initiative with ideas and improvements across the Engineering Departments ways of working.
·  Organising and maintaining office supplies.
·  Running reports via the Resort systems and sharing insights with the Engineering Leaders.
·  Working as needed to assist the wider Engineering team in day to day activities and in after hours emergencies.
·  Prioritising work as required to minimise guest and operational impact.
·  Assist with engineering department financial end of month processes and accruals.
What we need from you

Ideally, you will have a minimum of five years working in a high paced administration role with exposure purchasing and receiving functions in an engineering team or service provider environment. A problem solver passionate about ensuring the processes you are managing are seamless, you’re also comfortable with numbers, data and utilising technology and varying computer programs and devices. Experience with a CMS and using finance software systems would be advantageous.

You will need to have fluency in English and strong communication skills to support your role a key contact for all things engineering across the Resort and exposure to working within hotel and resort operations will be advantageous.  You must also hold the appropriate work rights to work within Australia and whilst this is a Monday to Friday role, flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required supporting the department’s activities is a must.
