About us

Escape the Ordinary IHG Salter Brothers Restaurants and Bars Division is a new innovative partnership between Salter Brothers, IHG and culinary visionary Matthew Butcher. Our Restaurant & Bars based at Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach have undergone an extensive renovation & we are about to launch our two brand spanking new venues, Shutters & Estate early January 2020. Shutters - we are a laid back, vibrant beachside community restaurant and bar that’s a breath of fresh ocean air. Escape into the vast bright blue sea and spindly tree-lined shores of Coogee Beach dining on local fare referencing the South of Italy and France. Estate - encapsulates the ethos of our Australian beach culture. Everything at Estate comes back to casual quality and something comfortably recognisable. Whether relaxing with a drink from the Airstream, dining on shared plates of grilled fish from the Kitchen, or just grabbing a taco from the Tacqueria & strolling down to the beach. Our culture here is no fuss, fun & tailored around a Mexican hang-loose attitude.

Your day to day

Great restaurant memories come from many places. As a Breakfast Waiter, you’ll welcome our guests, recommend food and drink and help keep breakfast service on-track and up to standard.By tailoring each guest’s experience to their unique tastes, you’ll create memories as delightful as the dishes. You'll prepare for breakfast service, process guests' food and beverage orders promptly, clear the tables and maintain the general cleanliness of the breakfast venue.

What we need from you

You'll have a real passion for hospitality and possess the ability to interact well with guests. You'll also be able to deliver efficient and prompt food and beverage service of a high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures. In addition, you will have a current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and previous experience in a similar role would be preferred.
