Available Career Opportunity:   

The Bi-Lingual Social Media Representative - Spanish acts as an online representative building and protecting IHG and its brands through different social and electronic mediums to support customer satisfaction and guest retention.. Focusing on service recovery and, wherever possible, incremental revenue generation by converting leads and contributing to brand preference. Protect and support brand image by being responsive to customer concerns. Responding to customer contacts by providing first level support for the consumer Internet site and On-line services through multiple contact channels of social media.    

Your day to day

Maintain a consistent, high quality customer-focused orientation. Listen to and communicate with customer to obtain all required information necessary to determine and address their specific needsAnswer inbound calls from IHG guests assisting them with hotel related inquiriesBuild an online relationship with consumers and provide feedback on where different conversations are taking placeCompose clear and concise correspondence as requested or requiredReview consumer content from social sites as provided by the listening platform and take appropriate action according to internal guidelinesWork with Business Innovation team on projects related to social media and/or e-media.Use the Listening Platform tool – Cymfony Maestro and other tools to fine tune needsProvide observations on trends in customer conversations within social media avenuesProvide first level support through the social media channels, telephone and e-mail.

What we need from you

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to promote IHG brands, customer engagement, and influence consumer sentiment - An affinity for social media and the ability to quickly assess forms of popular social communicationExperience with social mechanisms as well as more traditional online marketing mechanisms including: Facebook, Twitter, travel recommendation blogs and sites such as Trip Advisor - Excellent proven writing skills with a talent for summarizing product features and corporate messages in an entertaining fashionCreative and innovativeAbility to become the subject matter expert in new technologies quickly -  Enthusiastic, personable and ability to take charge - A startup and flexible mentality when it comes to solving challengesKnowledge of IHG brands, programs and promotions and service recovery processes

You must be able to work within a rotating roster of shift work that includes evenings and weekends.
