About us

Escape the Ordinary IHG Salter Brothers Restaurants and Bars Division is a new innovative partnership between Salter Brothers, IHG and culinary visionary Matthew Butcher. Our Restaurant & Bars based at Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach have undergone an extensive renovation & we are about to launch our two brand spanking new venues, Shutters & Estate early January 2020. Shutters - we are a laid back, vibrant beachside community restaurant and bar that’s a breath of fresh ocean air. Escape into the vast bright blue sea and spindly tree-lined shores of Coogee Beach dining on local fare referencing the South of Italy and France. Estate - encapsulates the ethos of our Australian beach culture. Everything at Estate comes back to casual quality and something comfortably recognisable. Whether relaxing with a drink from the Airstream, dining on shared plates of grilled fish from the Kitchen, or just grabbing a taco from the Tacqueria & strolling down to the beach. Our culture here is no fuss, fun & tailored around a Mexican hang-loose attitude.

Your day to day

Join us as a full-time Bar Supervisor! You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we are looking for a passionate new member of our Food & Beverage leadership team. You will focus on supervising the Shutters and Estate Bar operations, you will take ownership on shift and lead the team to ensure they are trained and developed to consistently deliver high levels of service.

What we need from you

To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience leading a team and have the passion to create memorable experiences through service. You will be able to lead by example by following safe work practices and know how to carry out duties in a quick and efficient manner while using your passion for delivering excellent customer service.It is essential you'll have a valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
