Job description
As a User Researcher you will be part of the Scrum Team responsible for all user research activities working closely with the client-side user researcher to build on previous evidence collected and build up user research during the Discovery phase for the new benefits system.
Activities include:
· Identifying the user groups,
· Driving the user research plan
· Facilitating workshops and feeding insights into the wider team and product backlog to build a user-centric product backlog.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
The following technical skills are important:
· Experience of planning, designing and carrying out research activities with users -Proficient in a variety of user research methods including in-lab and remote usability studies, ethnographic observation, field studies, interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry and focus groups
· Able to communicate insights to developers, designers and other stakeholders
· Experience of working with Designers, Product Owners, Developers, and other Researchers to prioritise research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
· Experience of facilitating evidence-based product and design decisions
