Required Technical and Professional Expertise

*2-3 years of SAP ABAP experience
*Programming experience with ERP/ ECC and exposure to the NetWeaver stack
*Works closely with functional consultants to assist with designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting innovative, custom solutions to fill gaps identified in the standard SAP functionality
*Debugs issues in SAP standard and existing custom code and makes recommendations for modification and improvement
*Writes regression test plans and participates in system integration testing
*Writes technical specs and performs all necessary research, analysis and testing
*Understands and uses advanced ABAP Workbench, including the ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Editor, Function Builder, Class Builder, SAPScript, Smart Forms as well as testing and analysis tools.

*Understands and uses complex ABAP commands and tools: ALV reports, database update programs, function modules, IDOCs, user exits, BDCs
*Workflow and Output experience preferred
*Unicode and ECC upgrade experience is a plus
Experience with LOTUS
*Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills
Mentors less experienced ABAP development consultants
*Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated capability to solve complex and cross-functional problems
