Job description

IBM is seeking an enthusiastic Business/Systems Analyst to join a DevOps squad in the CIO, Financial Systems Organization which manages IBM's Global Tax applications. Using Agile Practices to drive customer success is a key component of how we work. We strive to deliver holistic product experiences and tackle new and exciting challenges related to system development and integration.

Responsibilities include analyzing business needs, working with IT professionals to translate business requirements into IT solutions, and testing to validate the quality of these solutions. In addition you will work with other analysts, and assist in other areas such as coordination of dependencies, management of test schedules, and ensuring quality standards and controls compliance.

We are looking a Business/System Analyst to analyze impact of proposed solutions across the business; refining Epic, Feature, Story details while becoming an expert and understanding the business processes for multiple IBM legacy financial systems. The Business/System Analyst within the IBM Finance Systems Tax Portfolio Global Tax Squad supports multiple applications.

The accepted candidate would be a core team member of an I/T development team in the design and implementation of innovative changes and new development while ensuring our applications are transformed in world class processes. The Business Analyst will also develop strong working relationships with business and technical members of the team. A key component of how we work is using Agile Practices and IBM Design Thinking to drive customer success, deliver holistic product experiences, and tackles new and exciting challenge.
