Mid Level Business Analyst – (SAP SD Module)

Job description

This role is responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications to support a large deployed IT system, DSW SAP. The selected individual will drive various technical activities, work with the business team gathering/analyzing requirements, apply process and system knowledge, review with the technical implementation teams, test changes, and sign off.

In the role the business analyst will:
·  Perform business processes analysis, translate functional requirements into technical specifications
·  Perform detailed design, customization and implementation of IT solutions that meets/exceeds business requirements
·  Actively participate in workshops, meetings with process stakeholders/product owners to understand as-is processes and to design to-be processes
·  Provide operational analysis of business unit by analyzing performance metrics and business results
·  Use strategic thinking and IBM processes to determine the business needs. Partner with internal groups to implement solutions
·  Ensure urgent matters that require the executive's attention are attended to promptly
·  Active involvement on required projects to ensure plans are in place with minimal interruption to the business
·  Participate in meetings, take notes and log actions and owners
·  Conduct user acceptance tests, perform production support
·  Provide technical advice to executive team
·  Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build/maintain effective relationships with clients and peers
·  Model effective analyst behaviors in dealing with individuals and multi-functional teams
·  Effectively manage projects from initiation to completion
·  Model effective collaborative behaviors in dealing with individuals, teams, and business partners
·  Conduct effective negotiations in IT development, working with unit executives across the organization.
