In this role, you will be engaged in application development as well as complex problem determination with a number of IBM, open-source and other emerging technologies. As an engineering leader, you are expected to be able to pick up new technology areas quickly and have previous experience in a variety of programming languages, protocols, and demonstrated agile programming/debugging skills. You will have some exposure to IBM technologies/products as well as many open source technologies. It will be part of your job to help evaluate the latest technologies and figure out the best way to implement.

What you will do

·  Develop solutions for IBMers that excel at user experience, aesthetics, performance, reliability and scalability
·  Evaluate and select appropriate tools to improve our teams' productivity
·  Modernize our portfolio via migrating / rebuilding current applications on the IBM Cloud
·  Build, automate and release solutions on demand
·  Lead and prioritize backlog with guidance from Product Management, Engineering, Support/Operations
·  Participate and lead all Agile ceremonies with your team
·  Lead risks and resolving issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Technical Skills : Proficient in programming languages DB2 or SQL
·  Stakeholder management - Confident in dealing with all levels of stakeholders such as: project sponsors, subject matter experts, business managers, end users, administrators, architects, developers, testers, etc
·  Leadership – take responsibility for successful project delivery (along with project/delivery manager), guide team members in business and requirements knowledge
·  Listening skills – ability to listen well to business and IT teams and understand their needs
·  Acceptance Criteria – ability to create and agree on a well-defined acceptance criteria in structured languages like Gherkin to ensure the flow in the cycle.
·  Compliance and Risk Management: ability to detect and ensure the requirements being raise
·  Minimum three years experience as a BA in mainframe and non-mainframe application development
·  Minimum three years experience working on any reporting tools like JIRA, HP-ALM

·  Agile – experience working in Agile environments, looking to deliver value to the customers early and often, and helping the team and the Product Owner to work as an Agile team, the Business Analyst can take the role of Scrum Master as needed.
·  Manage change of requirements – via baselining techniques, feature/story management
·  Manage traceability of requirements through to test results and delivery
·  Facilitation - for meetings, to elicit, clarify, communicate requirements
·  Collaboration – able to work with variety of teams especially. Business, technical teams
·  Negotiation – ability to manage stakeholder expectations
·  Quality Assurance – ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction
·  Ability to Prioritize requirements based on business knowledge and common sense.
