— Offer test expertise to provide thorough test coverage to functional and technical changes.
— Exhibit excellent analytical and logical approach to assess testing scope for a release cycle.
— Plan, manage and develop test packs to execute on various test Environments
— Evaluate existing Testing tools and Test packs and provide recommendations for increasing test coverage by conducting gap analysis and identifying feasible alternative solutions.
— Exhibit zeal for automation of Tests for faster delivery.
— Recommend process improvements for overall test management.
— Liaise with multiple teams based in UK, Colombo and Hong Kong for coordination for End-to-End testing.
— Take complete ownership of testing for a working group(POD)
— Production Support of existing estate.

Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications
— Candidate must have working experience in planning, designing and execution of Tests to provide thorough test coverage to business requirements.
— The candidate must be efficient in evaluation and estimation of testing scope.
— Ideal candidates should have 5-8 years of testing experience in DB / ETL Testing.
— Experience on MARKIT EDM will be an added advantage.
— Ability to understand and formulate complex SQL queries.
— Detailed understanding of Testing processes and methodologies
— Candidate must have good experience in Test management using HP ALM and JIRA.
— Candidate should have knowledge and some hands on experience of Automation Frameworks / Tools. Experience on Fitnesse will be an added advantage.
— Candidate should have knowledge and hands on experience in banking industry, ideally investment bank / Capital Markets
— Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels in the business
— Nice to have knowledge and hands on experience on Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and SVN.
