We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Analytics Analyst (GCB 6)

Responsibilities

·
Identify new use cases for data science for business growth or risk mitigation

·
Conduct customer centric analysis to identify opportunities and risks to support various projects to fulfill Global CMB SBO strategy

·
Advocate and promote the use of data science to drive fact based activity and behaviour in Commercial Banking

·
Use business judgment and analytical tools in driving the best results, while leveraging a highly technical environment using a range of software and programming languages to access Global Servers.

·
Developing effective and enduring relationships with various stakeholders to understand, recommend and drive delivery against business needs for MI and analytics

·
Reports to Head of Business Analytics who is responsible for the business unit.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements

· 
At least 2-5 years of customer analytics experience, preferably in banking and financial sector

· 
Proficiency in using Python, R, SQL, SAS or similar analytically oriented programming languages

· 
Solid technical skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge in other business intelligence or analytics tools will be advantageous

· 
Extensive technical skill in data mining, able to understand various data structures both structured and unstructured and common methods in data transformation

· 
High technical aptitude, problem solving abilities, intellectual curiosity, motivation, and passion for data discovery

· 
Open minded and self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong sense of responsibility

· 
Excellent planning/organization skills, good time-management and has strong follow-through abilities and attention to detail.

Candidate with more relevant experience or skills may be offered a higher Global Career Band than stated above.
