The role of the Business Analyst sits within the Corporate and Institutional Digital team at HSBC.

Corporate and Institutional Digital collaborates with Commercial Banking and Global Banking and Markets to identify and develop digital solutions for clients and colleagues, using the next generation of technologies.

The highly regarded Corporate & Institutional Digital, Portfolio Management team is primarily responsible for providing portfolio delivery and management covering several high-profile digital programmes, as well as direct support to the Head of Corporate & Institutional Digital.

The role holder will:

Collaborate and coordinate with IT, Risk & Security, Business Lines and Programme Managers to plan, scope and map the go-live plan for the HSBC API Portal, seeing the plan through to delivery

Understand and define necessary sign-offs and approvals required (both Business and IT) for go-live across CMB and GB&M

·
Map all deliverables associated with the go-live plan, as well as subsequent go-live phases

·
Support the project management delivery of the go-live plan, including coordination with the API Leadership Team, Technical Working Group, Product Working Group and Risk & Security Committee, ensuring deadlines and critical paths are adhered to

Identification and resolution of any risks and issues to the go-live plan.

Act as a fungible Business Analyst across the programme workstreams, providing support where required

·
Work with Business Lines across CMB and GB&M to understand and map commercialisation of APIs to clients and regions to ensure the appropriate scaling up of the strategic proposition

The coordination and communication of findings of HSBC API Portal insights and reviews to internal stakeholders across CMB and GB&M

·
Apply the go-live plan learnings to assist in the wider coordination of Business and IT in the build, deployment and support of the HSBC API Portal

·
Provide business analysis support to the broader C&ID team, as required

·
Support the development and maintenance of detailed project plans and data using Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Qualifications :

The successful candidate will have:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, able to communicate clearly, concisely, and frequently

Interest in digital trends in Financial Services
