Role Title: Assistant Business Manager II

Business: Region CIO- ASP

Role Purpose / Description:

Team Introduction:

HOST Information Technology provides technology solutions to support the global businesses and global functions in HSBC worldwide.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team in the role of Assistant Business Manager II.

Job Duties:

· Manage and participate in monthly IT recharge invoice settlement process

· Work with country Finance in invoice settlement on clear-to-pay charges and submit necessary accruals

· Perform monthly IT invoice substantiation to ensure IT charges are billed correctly and raise billing disputes on the businesses and functions behalf for incorrect charges

· Take the lead in resolving open disputes with Local, Regional and Global stakeholders

· Host monthly IT recharges review with country businesses and functions to explain the recharges

· Prepare approval documents on IT recharge for country approval forums

· Generate regular MI on various topics such as year-to-date invoices and payments, outstanding disputes, and any ad-hoc MI required

· Day to Day support activities in helping to run the operation

· Ad hoc requests

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications :

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience of working with diverse teams

· Proficiency in verbal and written English, especially proficient in email communication and reporting

· Must possess excellent attention to detail and ability to investigate items in detail

· Logical and analytical thinking

· Strong understanding of the IT recharges eco-system

· Working knowledge of accounting principles such as Capitalization and Amortizations

· Strong customer focus and commitment to delivery; Excellent problem solving and User support skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high quality results under tight schedule and high pressure

· In-depth understanding of GPDM, Clarity, Open Workbench, Cognos and other new Technology and financial management information systems

· Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; knowledge of basic Data Analysis is a plus

· Self-starter and able to perform with minimal supervision

· Basic knowledge about software and development lifecycle (preferred)

· Working in a global team with different cultures (preferred)

· Capability to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure
