In this amazing role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical design of a complete solution which address the customer’s business needs, including both the HPE products and services plus all necessary third-party components (e.g. software, hardware, consulting). You will be aligned to a single or small group of related solutions (such as cloud, big data, mobility, etc.), aligned with our innovative corporate strategy and you will become an expert in this area. How you’ll make your mark:

·  By being responsible for developing, designing and presenting solutions in the areas of: Datacenter Infrastructure & Technology, Hybrid Cloud environment (IaaS / PaaS), Cloud adoption plans and Cloud workload and transformation
·  By using new tools and methodologies, such as DevOps and containerization that enable customers’ IT transformation
·  By delivering business value to customers by architecting effective information systems solutions that address the customer’s business problems, needs and opportunities, in a consistent manner with company’s strategic and business goals
·  By being a leader in qualifying, developing and closing medium to large opportunities and playing a key role in preparing technical complex proposals and bids for medium to large opportunities
·  By articulating technical or operational problems or issues into understandable business terms

About you:

• You have a University degree in Computer Sciences or related field

• You have significant experience in the technology industry with focus on technical consulting, solution and IT services selling

• You have expert technical understanding of datacenter automation tools and methodologies

• You are a proficient user of Windows, Linux and Unix operating systems and ideally Python, R, noSQL & IoT platforms – not essential

• You are experienced in working with major Container and Container Orchestration technologies and you understand public cloud computing (IaaS) and the main public cloud players

• You are able to understand cloud workload design principles in terms of multi-region and availability zones, and their impacts on RPO, RTO and related costs

• You are able to lead the architectural design of medium to large business unit level IT based solutions (typically within multiple technology or specialty areas)

• You are a great verbal and written communicator and can demonstrate expert consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling etc.
