The primary role will be the installation of systems.  This installation will be for internal test as well as traveling to the customer site for site installation.  This will include the water and power connections.  Other activities will include facility fit-up, equipment moves, and equipment maintenance, torque tool calibration and ESD (Electro Static Discharge) Audits.

This Engineering Technician position will work directly with the Mfg Engineers as well as perform Bay Install and Removal functions.  This position will require travel both domestically and internationally.

Reads/interprets mechanical drawings, schematics, printouts, specifications and test procedures. Performs tests to determine the functionality of mechanical or computer equipment. May participate in basic design and analysis via computer-aided design. Ensure instruments are calibrated and verified on a regular basis. Participates with engineers in the testing, debugging and troubleshooting of new and existing equipment and products. Creates new test programs/procedures as needed for new technologies.

Responsibilities:

·  Applies basic knowledge of the job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments/tasks.
·  Good understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job.
·  Works on assignments that are routine to moderately complex in nature and require basic problem resolution and independent judgment.
·  Organizes own tasks and receives general instructions on all work.

Education and Experience Required:

·  Associate's degree or equivalent experience and/or 1-2 years related experience.
·  May include highly experienced individuals performing entry-level equivalent work who are non- degreed or degreed in an unrelated field.

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Basic knowledge in the field of electro mechanical technology.
