We are looking to add a highly talented member to our team with a background that combines experience in executive-level operations and follow-through in execution with an understanding of modern marketing and communications strategies. Senior level experience in managing execution to outcomes in a large organization is a must. Our team leaders are experts in their field and the ideal candidate will develop a capacity to synthesize recommendations, develop options and help focus the team on fewer projects completed to excellence.

Our group delivers results for the function and the company as a whole including management of the company's entire ecommerce portfolio (large enterprises and SMB). We also lead high profile initiatives that help HPE marketing continue to deliver on behalf of the entire company.

The Marketing Strategy, Operations and Ecommerce is responsible for the performance of the entire marketing organization. Specifically, the following functions are in our portfolio:

·  Marketing strategy and special projects
·  Budget management and planning
·  Data science and marketing analytics
·  Customer and competitive intelligence
·  eCommerce P&L $2bn +
·  Web operations
·  Marketing demand operations
·  Events vendor management
·  Marketing operations, including all marketing IT, chat and business services professionals

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Performance (50%)

·  Assist with design, development and execution of strategic insights and analytics projects to provide executive-ready recommendations
·  Help to define, operationalize, and measure performance metrics to optimize marketing strategy and programs
·  Help compile reports, conduct research, and run analytics to support various marketing strategy projects  
·  Define, manage, and assess business plans against defined strategic objectives in conjunction with annual Marketing strategic planning effort
·  Assist with managing budget operations for team

Special Projects (50%)

·  Assist with variety of special projects across the organization (e.g., competitive and customer insights, advanced analytics, eCommerce, etc.)
·  Collaborate with stakeholders across business units, centers of expertise, and regions to align strategy and direction to execute strategic initiatives
·  Build and enhance the capabilities of the team through quality and continuous improvement efforts to drive clear and articulate deliverables

Education and Experience:

·  BA/BS degree; preferred degree in business administration or marketing (but not required)
·  Background in IT industry preferred but not required

Skills and Knowledge:

·  Structured Problem Solving: Identify and address business issues by applying pragmatic, results-driven problem solving techniques and creative insights.
·  Clear Communication: Create, influence and deliver business information that drives others to action by presenting ideas in an effective, clear and compelling way.
·  Execution Excellence: Deliver business outcomes in a matrixed, fast moving and variable environment, and enable a sustainable outcome, through use of a consistent framework, industrialized methods and ability – above all ensure that the team doesn't lose good insights to a lack of follow-through in execution.
·  Business Process Design, Analysis and Implementation: Deliver substantive process and innovation performance improvement through the application of end to end, process analytics and re-engineering techniques.
·  Operating Model Architecture: Architect operating models and strategies that deliver the desired market positioning, focus, and distinctive capabilities.
·  Strong data modeling skills and presentation ability (MS Excel/PPT)
·  Strong presentation skills (storyboarding, development and delivery)
·  Ability to handle highly ambiguous and unstructured work situations
