Inside Sales Manager
Job Description:
Join our management team in a sales leadership role where you will be responsible for driving a team of sales professionals to achieve their goals. The successful candidate will work strategically with customers and key partners within a defined sales segment / territory, managing and supporting the performance of individual contributors within the overall team to grow and develop talent within the wider organisation.
Responsibilities :
· Develop, maintain and execute a sales plan for the Territory / Segment
· Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics
· Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition
· Manage, develop, coach and motivate the sales force to develop their skills to ensure that a highly professional standard is achieved and sales targets and goals are met
· Create a working environment that is conducive to individual growth, high performance as well as challenging and rewarding. Achieves diversity and other HR goals
· Establish and manage relationships with customer subject matter experts and appropriate customer management, with an objective of maintaining and building the business
· Maintain sales volume, product mix and margin by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
Skills required for the role:
· Proven track record in sales and sales management
· Knowledge of industry and market trends
· Strong understanding of technology in direct responsibility
· General understanding of related technologies
· Business Analysis and Planning
· Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
· Workforce management/ development
· Escalation management, customer relationship-building
· Demonstrable time management skills
· The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously through to delivery
· Drive & resilience
· Enthusiasm
Education and Experience Preferred:
· Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
· Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience.
