We are seeking a motivated and skilled HPC Application Developer who will be the main route of for the customer into the HPE software engineering support organization and will be an expert with knowledge to develop High Performance Computing applications.

In this truly innovative role, you will support on porting users applications to customer’s new infrastructure, help users to analyse and optimize their codes for optimal performance, assist users in solving problems in their applications as well as sharing best practices among users to optimize the utilization of customer systems Focal point for the customer

How you’ll make your mark:

· 
Provide technical support for the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with complex HPC computer systems

· 
Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications 

· 
Ports, troubleshoots, and optimizes customer applications

· 
Lead team discussions that involve individual concerns, and works toward resolving problems and issues

· 
Participates in customer status and planning meetings

· 
Escalate technical issues in a timely and appropriate manner

· 
Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

About you:

·  Several years of working experience with High Performance Computing (HPC).
·  Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: processor architecture, interconnect topology, GPU
·  Demonstrable experience with parallel programming and application analysis as well as parallel filesystems (Lustre/GPFS) Knowledge of programming languages C and C++, Fortran
·  Working knowledge of MPI, OpenMP
·  Working experience in a research environment
·  Experience with Linux OS
·  Experience with shell scripting, ideally shell scripts used for batch job submissions
·  Experience in a customer facing role/consulting role with strong interpersonal skills
·  This role will require valid UK government clearance, therefore must be willing to go through security checks.
