Key Responsibilities

HPE’s Global Brand Security (GBS) team safeguards brand and market share through analytics, intelligence, investigative services, and risk mitigation, therefore making it harder to steal it, fake it or commit fraud. The GBS team focuses on the major risk areas by minimizing the impact of illicit competition and business risk through world class security solutions.  We deliver investigative services, market enforcement actions and proactive brand solutions for Sales and Discount Fraud (SDF), and Service Warranty Fraud (SWF). In addition, we have recently initiated a global Anti-Counterfeit program (ACF) which is managed by a dedicated core team working in conjunction with our third-party investigative teams. These programs are each supported by shared services provided by our Global Targeting (GT), and Global Program Services teams (GPS).

This position will assist in the delivery of security services and projects, and contributes to high priority projects and cases.  The position will require the use of specialized security tools and methods, and will include collaboration with partners, customers, suppliers and colleagues from diverse backgrounds and at varying levels within the corporate structure.

What is an ideal candidate for the GCS/Brand Security Intern Program? (Education and Experience Required)

·  Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (or equivalent) degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Security, Law Enforcement or a related field of study.
·  Strong leadership, influencing, communication and interpersonal skills   
·  Strong project management abilities
·  Self-starter with ability to manage work in multiple areas and within a virtual work environment
·  Effective collaborator
·  Advanced communication/collaboration skills for interaction with internal resources, vendors, and service partners.
·  Ability to develop and promote positive change through innovation and creativity
·  Strong contributor who wants to make an impact
·  Strong business acumen and critical analytical skills
