Job Description:

Primary activities:

·  Conduct high quality investigations into various issues impacting HPE assets broadly defined as people, products, intellectual property and operations.
·  Generally investigations focus on fraud or other complex matters in the HPE sales or services environment.
·  Analyze HPE transactional data (sales, logistics, warranty, etc) to identify and prioritize investigative targets and quantify impact.
·  Team with HPE product groups in identifying and quantifying risks and ensure program design reflects risks identified.
·  Conduct investigations in partnership with business unit compliance functions to identify and minimize abuse/fraud in HPE sales & services processes.
·  Utilize and manage internal and external resources in the performance of investigations.
·  Assure all investigative actions and intelligence gathering meet HPE’s ethical framework and incident management protocols.
·  Work closely with other teams to implementing effective fraud prevention solutions based on investigation results.
·  Deliver professionally written reports incorporating all evidence required to prove investigative findings. Document regular reports of activity, reports of investigations and after action analysis and recommendations to improve HPE's business processes.
·  Manage case files and investigative data, both electronic and hard copy. Trend and analyze investigative information and provide appropriate feedback.
·  Conduct informational and/or subject interviews to ascertain the facts and develop investigative findings.
·  Work closely as appropriate, with HPE Security, Legal, HR, Business Units, Ethics Office and management in pursuit of investigative issues.
·  Where appropriate, partner with HPE Legal, outside counsel, and Law Enforcement in pursuing legal remedies to protect HPE's assets.
·  Provide quantification of losses and investigative results to demonstrate return on investment.

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in Criminal Justice, Security, Investigation, Law Enforcement, Audit, Economics or a related field of study
·  Ideally recognized international security qualifications (like CFE, CIA etc.)
·  Minimum 2 years experience working in corporate security, risk management, brand protection, audit or law enforcement
·  Knowledge of the high tech industry and marketplace
·  Ideally experiance in anti-counterfeit investigation
·  Ability to learn quickly
·  English fluency and excellent writing and speaking skills required
·  Ability to work in varying situations, from committee work in which a “team player” approach is essential, to situations in which considerable independence and self-motivation are required
·  Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds, countries of origin, and at varying levels within the corporate structure
·  Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and respond rapidly to breaking situations
·  Sound, proven ethical judgment is a must
