Role Mission

The Retail Operations Manager is a hands on key role, in charge of ensuring store efficiency and delivering operational excellence at regional level, in order to create and maintain store efficiency, and maximize sales.

Key Accountabilities

Retail Management relationship

· Supporting the Retail Management in store interface and coordination activities, ensuring smooth processes for the stores
· Managing all BOH related activities, the Retail Operations is fully accountable for the efficiency of the stockrooms, from their layout to space optimization, as the way to ensure the selling floor is supported at its best at all times
· Interacting with stores and retail partners, trying to establish effective and strong relationships
· Keep an up to date knowledge of systems and train store staff if required, take the lead in key projects (ex.: BEAT, T&A etc), delivering training and monitoring progresses
· Enforce and execute all policies and procedures regarding store operations, ensure a strong level of awareness amongst stores in regards to store operations and policies
· Ensure a constant and effective presence in the stores of his/her channel, in order to ensure organizational guidelines, procedures and standards are maintained at all times Logistics and warehousing
· Ensure the correct flow of stock from the warehouse into the stores, and working with the stores' stock teams so that product is available on the selling floor in a timely manner
· Work with buying office and store management to achieve perfect rationalization of merchandise and correct stock levels between all locations, in accordance with business needs and stock capacity New stores
· Managing all the operational activities linked to new stores' opening/refurbishment at store level, within assigned countries
· Coordination with all the departments involved in the project Overall store appearance
· Oversee the maintenance of the store and ensure right standards are met
· Follow up with relevant departments on the implementation of required actions Inventory activities
· Overseeing and leading stock movements procedures
· Responsible for the schedule and organization of the physical stock-take, analysis of results in coordination with Inventory Control
· Monitoring of random inventory schedule progresses, as a tool to reduce shrinkage and sales loss, through an accurate inventory
· Monitor MD stock levels during previews Uniforms and Packaging
· Supporting the whole process linked to uniforms and packaging management, from the ordering phase, to the reception, storage and the proper distribution, in direct partnership with the Special Flows team of the planning office
· Continuous monitoring of the flow in order to ensure compliance with guidelines and achieve efficiency in terms of costs and delivery time Team management
· Leading, coaching and act as an inspirational point of reference for all operational roles within the stores, with a particular focus on the stock team, to whom the Retail Operations act as a guide and main point of contact.
· Providing training sessions to stores' staff, in order to increase the level of competence

Qualifications :

Key Requirements

·  Fluent in English and Spanish
·  Retail Operations experience not less than 3 years (experience in luxury area is a plus)
