Poste et missions
The Natixis Americas platform delivers a diversified range of structured and asset financing, capital markets, and global transaction financing solutions, encompassing both vanilla and structured transactions across the spectrum of risk profiles. Our clients include institutional, corporate and local government clients in North and South America.

The Natixis Americas Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) group has offices in New York, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Houston, Lima, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Montréal, and São Paolo, and a staff of more than 600.

The Houston office covers Oil & Gas clients within the Energy & Natural Resources strategic sector and focuses primarily on the origination and execution of structured credit products. The Oil & Gas Structured Finance Analyst (VIE) can expect to participate in all aspects of the structuring and execution functions of the team.

Responsibilities include support to the origination team by preparing pitch books and market updates, as well as all aspects of the deal execution process including detailed financial modeling, credit analysis, due diligence, transaction management & monitoring, screening memos, client vetting, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with origination activities, including preparing pitch books, market comparables, industry updates / analysis, and other duties as necessary ;

• Support the credit and deal structuring process by providing financial analysis, corporate projections, and other financial modeling deliverables ;

• Be at the center of the deal process by coordinating with other business partners (syndication, leveraged finance, commodities market, legal, middle office, vetting/onboarding, etc.) ;

• Work with originators to identify new prospects and prepare screening memos ;

• Ensure deal inputs for all origination are up to date within internal databases & systems ;

• Other tasks / projects as assigned.

Desired profile

Profil et compétences requises
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable institution ;

• At least 6 to 12 months of internship experience with a financial institution, in structured or project finance. Experience in the oil & gas space preferred but not required ;

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Experience in financial modeling preferred ;

• Strong professional presence which includes self-confidence and maturity ;

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint ;

• Proficiency in English required.

The VIE mission should start in February 2020.
