Role Summary/Purpose

A GE Distributed Power business providing technical support for all products of DP; Gas Engines Jenbach and Waukesha, has an immediate need for a Proactive Solutions team member.

The Proactive Solutions team is center of excellence for myPlant connectivity and Analytics.
Essential Responsibilities

The team is using myPlant APM system and myPlant analytics to predict unplanned events and communicate with Field Service and Channel Partners to trigger proactive maintenance interventions. Supports development of existing/new analytics and drive use of analytics across functional teams.

·  Support MyPlant analytics validation and implementing them into production

·  Support transformation from reactive to proactive customer support by using myPlant analytics and preventing unplanned downtime as much as possible

·  Development of training material for Technical Support/Field Service teams

·  Train cross functional teams on the use of analytics

·  Release proven analytics to cross functional teams

·  Act as technical expert for customers using the remote system and process

·  Collecting of fleet issues to support the emergent issue process

·  Participation in the 24/7/365 Support shifts per DP business structure, product line and Issue Resolution team you represent. Manage cases for reactive issue resolution as required

·  Attend periodically (2-3 times) annually field service jobs to maintain product line expertise

·  Attend product line trainings for all DP products to broaden your product line knowledge and expertise
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Strong previous work experience as field services technician (electric or mechanic)

·  Strong knowledge of products and services of DP Product line that is associated in your office location(RE)

·  Takes ownership of cases bring them until final resolution and involve & escalate to other organizations as needed with limited supervision

·  Managed assigned cases providing suggestions for product improvement and actively participating to support development of algorithms and new analytics as required

·  Able to communicate (internal & external) providing case status, action plan and properly require management support when needed

·  Able to support development of training material and train/support cross functional teams on the use of analytics

·  Self-started, leverage latest technology and tools (e.g. predictive analytics) to identify opportunities for proactive intervention and continuous improvement

·  Can read and interpret electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams

·  Strong computer skills and advanced user of office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·  Fluent in Business English, local language of your position location of country it is a plus if you know other languages too

·  Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary

·  EU Work Permit

If contracted in Spain:
