Role Summary/Purpose

The Spare Controller is the support function for the spare parts selection process during the mobilization period of the O&M contract in Koudiet. The responsibility includes the evaluation of the client stock, determination of supplier on installed power plant equipment, support spare part evaluation with suppliers and determine availability of maintenance tools on site.
Essential Responsibilities

- Support the spare parts selection process.
- Evaluate and determine client stock spare parts.
- Check on site equipment status and identify equipment suppliers
- Verify existence and status of power plant customer tools and determine missing equipment
- Search and verify spare parts in power plant documentation
- Support spare parts identification process with suppliers
- Ensure proper handover of spare parts to customer and support customer on storage of new purchased spare parts
- Ensure proper storage of purchased spare parts in the customer warehouse, proper identification of the spare parts in warehouse and in client CMMS system
- Supervise visual validation process of received parts to comply with description, package and quantity reflected in the original supplier invoice
- Ensure proper on site storage of the spare parts and ensure optimized storage using the existing warehouse capacity.
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications/Requirements

- Graduate Engineer in Mechanical or Electrical from an accredited College or University
- Good written and oral communication skills in French and English to convey technical concepts to business, customer and technical personnel is a must
- Minimum 3 years experience of combined cycle power plant O&M experience.
- Good Computer Knowledge and administration skills
- Technical knowledge
