The Renewable Energy Margin Expansion Lab, is a unique organization within Renewable Energy that is tasked with accelerating the rate of cost out in business. The lab is an extension of Product Management and supports the mission of expanding margin while supporting business growth. We firmly believe that the creation of this lab is a required investment needed to lean into an increasingly competitive Renewable Energy market.

Furthermore, the lab is a commitment to taking cost out of the business faster than the decline of the Levelized Cost of Renewable Energy.

L'équipe Augmentation des marges de la branche Renewable Energy constitue une organisation unique au sein de Renewable Energy dont la mission est d'accélérer le processus de réduction des coûts. Cette organisation est une extension de l'équipe Gestion de produits et a pour mission d'augmenter les marges tout en soutenant la croissance de l'entreprise. Nous croyons fermement que la création de cette équipe est un investissement nécessaire pour se concentrer sur un marché de l'énergie renouvelable de plus en plus compétitif.

De plus, la mise en place de cette équipe est un engagement envers une réduction des coûts de l'entreprise plus rapide que la réduction du coût moyen actualisé des énergies renouvelables.

The Should Cost engineer will be responsible for developing should cost models and methods towards the attainment of accurate should cost data for renewable energy components products and systems. He/she is responsible for supporting of commercial negotiations that are grounded in should cost.

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

·  Accountable for should cost attainment at the segment level

·  Collaborate with all functions (engineering, supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, site installation, and finance) in the development of accurate should cost models

·  Maintain a strong relationship and collaboration with the various product component design teams

·  Help to develop should cost targets across the various product segments and component teams

·  Use technical expertise and/or manufacturing know-how to guide should cost accuracy

·  Collaborate with other engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and sourcing teams

Principales responsabilités

L'Ingénieur(e) Estimation des coûts est chargé(e) d'élaborer les modèles et méthodes d'estimation des coûts permettant d'obtenir des données de coûts exactes pour les composants, les produits et les systèmes Renewable Energy. Il/Elle a également pour mission de soutenir les négociations commerciales qui reposent sur l'estimation des coûts.

Principales responsabilités/Fonctions essentielles :

·  Veiller à la réalisation des estimations de coûts au niveau du segment

·  Collaborer avec tous les services (Engineering, Chaîne d'approvisionnement, Achats, Production, Logistique, Installation sur site, et Finance) dans l'élaboration de modèles d'estimation des coûts exacts

·  Entretenir une solide relation et collaboration avec les différentes équipes de conception de composants de produits

·  Contribuer à la définition des objectifs en matière d'estimation des coûts sur les différents segments de produits et au sein des différentes équipes en charge des composants

·  Faire preuve d'expertise technique et/ou de savoir-faire en matière de production pour favoriser la précision de l'estimation des coûts

·  Collaborer avec les autres équipes Engineering, Production, Chaîne d'approvisionnement et Achats
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience

·  Experience designing or manufacturing mechanical/structural components

·  Significant experience in engineering, supply chain or sourcing

·  Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time or more

·  Fluent in English (speaking and writing)

·  EU Work Permit

If contracted in Spain:

Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.

Qualifications requises/Exigences

·  BAC+3 en ingénierie ou expériences/connaissances équivalentes

·  Expérience de la conception ou production de composants mécaniques/structurels

·  Solide expérience en ingénierie, chaîne d'approvisionnement ou achats

·  Mobilité : déplacements à prévoir, jusqu’à 25 % du temps ou plus

·  Anglais courant, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit

·  Permis de travail européen
