Role Summary/Purpose

The Paralegal is an integral member of the GE Corporate, Securities and Finance legal team
Essential Responsibilities

·  Assist with preparation and organization of Board of Directors and Committee minutes, materials and minute books
·  Assist with matters of corporate governance, including dividend declarations and notifications, charters, policies and procedures, insider trading compliance, oversight of governance section of GE public website and of internal website
·  Assist with SEC and public company reporting, including:
·  Proxy Statement and Annual Shareowner Meeting
·  Filings on Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K
·  Manage process for and execution of filings with the NYSE Listing Manager and international exchanges
·  Assist with preparation of investor outreach materials, including maintenance of institutional investor database
·  Assist with responses to select surveys from third parties relating to governance matters
·  Perform other related duties as required, including liaising with other departments as needed
Qualifications/Requirements

·  College degree, paralegal certificate from an accredited institution, or high school diploma with at least five years of relevant professional experience
·  Proficient with the Microsoft Office product suite

·  Public company corporate governance experience preferred, but not necessary
·  Massachusetts Notary Public or willing to obtain
·  Willingness and ability to learn new software tools
·  Contributes to building a positive team spirit and treats others with respect
·  Fosters collaboration toward a common vision and shared goals
